HOPE stands for (Helping Others Practice Empowerment). In April 2016 in honor of Mothers In Crisis 25th anniversary, MIC received proclamations from the City and County designating every Friday as Hope Universe Day. On Hope Fridays, share hope and help with those in need. Because of the HOPE Movement, the National Day Calendar designated April as the National Month of Hope beginning in April 2018. As a part of the HOPE Movement Mothers In Crisis rolled out the HOPE Not Hate Campaign encouraging everyone to spread messages of Hope Not Hate every Friday on Hope Universe Day.
Mothers In Crisis, Inc. is implementing the Hope Universe Grace Initiative (HUGI), spreading hope around the world by proclaiming Hope Universe Day every Friday. Hope Universe Day is a day to spread hope to families and communities one person at a time.

“There is no power greater than love and in order to be successful in seeking, finding, and fulfilling your It you must learn how to love and to be loved. Love is a topic that has been written about and contemplated throughout the ages since the beginning of time. Families have been formed and divided all in the name of love. Yet people continue to ask “What is love?” and in some cases, “What’s love got to do with it?” When it comes to fulfilling your It, love has everything to do with it.”http://www.whatisitbook.com

Your Hope Infusion for Today:
Another very important part of God’s divine health care plan, is hope. Hope has been said to be pregnant expectancy. In Hebrews 11:1, the Bible states, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (KJV). It is so important to hope until you cannot have faith without it. Hope will give you a reason to get up in the morning and continue to press on. Hope will give you a reason not to give up and to try again even after you fail. Hope will heal your disappointments and cover your failures because with hope, there is always tomorrow. Hope speaks to your future while in the midst of your today, and hope will propel you into your destiny. My trademark saying is, “As long as there is breath in your body, there is hope!”This implies that you have another chance to get it right. Hopelessness causes one to give up on dreams and not really live the abundant life that Jesus came to give each of us. Hope is extremely important, especially to your mental and emotional health. The Bible states, in the Book of Proverbs 13:12, that Hope deferredmaketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life (KJV). In this particular scripture, the Hebrew word mashak \maw·shak\; is translated as “deferred”; and it means “to drag along, lead along, drag or lead off, draw down, to be drawn out, be postponed, be deferred.”I have found this to be true in so many instances in my life, whenever it seemed like the thing that I was hoping for was taking too long to come. Have you ever felt that way before? It certainly does make your heart sick. The good news is that if you just hold on to God’s unchanging hand, you will find out, as Job did in the Bible; that God will give you double for your trouble if you just wait on Him! So many times people give up hope and stop trying right before the breakthrough comes.Even in the midst of trouble, hope can be your way out. In the Book of Hosea 2:15, the Bible states, “And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt” (KJV).According to Easton’s Bible Dictionary,“Achor,” in the referenced scripture, means “trouble, a valley near Jericho, so called in consequence of the trouble which the sin of Achan caused Israel (Josh. 7:24,26).The expression “valley of Achor” probably became proverbial for that which caused trouble, and when Isaiah (Isa. 65:10) refers to it, he uses it in this sense: “The valley of Achor, a place for herds to lie down in;” i.e., that which had been a source of calamity would become a source of blessing. Hosea also (Hos. 2:15) uses the expression in the same sense: “The valley of Achor for a door of hope;” i.e., trouble would be turned into joy, despair into hope.God will turn your trouble into joy, but you must access it through the door of hope. When you walk through the door of hope, you come into the place of trust and faith in God to know that He has you in the palm of His hands and that trouble won’t last always. A person who has hope is a beautiful person because hope lifts one up above whatever the situation is that he or she is going through and it causes one to shine with expectation and become pregnant with promise. ~Excerpt from “You Are Beautiful: Unlocking Beauty From Within” by Rosalind Y. Pearls areformed deep in the heart of the ocean within the shells of oysters and other mollusks as they enclose irritating foreign objects. I found my greatest treasures in darkness. It was as though I was that foreign object enclosed in the darkness of irritating circumstances. I went down deep and serendipitously found the treasures of life. I must say that I spent many years of my life “deep sea diving.” I am only glad that I grabbed hold of abundant life when I did. Having experienced the darkness I can truly appreciate the light.
